Was looking at the ST3s on Ducati Aylesbury's website yesterday. But I was wondering whether that's sensible or would a BMW or Jap bike be more easily fixed in the event of a breakdown roadside in foreign countries (not by me, you understand)? Or is it fair enough to expect a bike costing £4K ish to be reliable enough for a 3 week holiday in Europe? As usual, just mulling at present and will be doing more research if/when I decide I can bear to part with the 996. So far, all atempts to break the umbillical cord have failed.
