Phil/TP, Alan is in all evening tonight (I'm out:P )
He said bring the bike in a van if you like (fool!!)
Otherwise more than welcome to grab the tool & have a beer.

Off out on the bike myself in a bit

(should have come last night as 4 of them could have had it fixed in a jiffy for you)

Thanks very much to you both for your kind offer, Phill has just phoned me (can't get to his PC at work at the moment) and he's bought himself a clutch holding tool! It arrives tomorrow so I daresay we'll be sorting out his clutch tomorrow night. And the one in my 998R too!

Beautiful day in cheshire too. T'was a balmy zero degrees this morning with a dusting of.....grit from overnight gritters. Sent the kids out to collect some for the dinner table - life's tough y'know.

Thanks Alan and Charlotte for the offer of loaning your clutch lock tool.

I just came to the conclusion that for £60 it would be easier to just buy my own. Remember, a clutch lock tool is forever, not just emergencies.

Anyway, if anyone else is interested, I bought it from Carbon Trader for £60 including delivery -

http://carbon-trader.com/offers.htm

Reduced from £129 apparently.
