Chris, very good summary except you missed out about the lousy food. Glad you're out and recovering. What caused the kidney infection in the first place and did you drink lots of soda water like I told you to?

due to my off at assen i got to go see the nice hopital in holland. it was fantastic i had to wait in A and E for 2mins i got to see 3 doctors (very hot female doctors) the service was fantastic un like the NHS

Oh the food....memories.

Yes Ruth, soda water, cranberry, asparagus, beetroot and potato are my new kidney friendly foods.

Cause of the infection was from the previous weeks throat infection, passed on to kidneys..nice, rare but happens.

For a physically FIT guy, I was amazed at how quickly your body goes downhill.

Looking forward to getting back on the bike and enjoying the racing.
