Ouch! That would smart a bit

Not being funny or anything but the scaphoid takes AGES to heal because it has a poor bloody supply (I broke mine playing basketball in 1996). I was a very fit soldier, only 21 years old and it still took around 8 weeks.

Seriously, take your time coming back mate. If you damage it again while it's healing you risk damaging it's bloody supply and permanently weakening the bone. The bone I broke in my ankle last year (Talus) is very similar in that it has a poor bloody supply etc (only it's 3 times the size and is the main weight bearing bone in the ankle) and the consultant I was seeing at the private hospital told me if I rushed I'd risk collapsing the top part of the bone and if that happened, she would have to fuse part of my ankle in place - basically I'd have to walk with quite a limp forever from that point. I took that very seriously and just waited.

Make sure you get GOOD advice mate ... AND LISTEN TO IT!!!

Although we all know you won't
