The tank lifts off with the seat unit.They are bolted together with a 17mm bolt.Its easier to lift the rear and unbolt the seat first.This will give you better access for removing the fuel pipes and the multipin plug for the electrics.Dont forget about the breather pipes at the front of the tank near the ign switch.

dont forget to grease your O rings on the plug in connectors before putting them back or you may trap and ****** the O rings
