Directions please - HELP needed

Can anyone who goes to Cadwell from the Stratford area (we are going from Arrow, nr Alcester actually) give me a good route?

The AA route planner shows to go via Lincoln (which we never do, as we hive off the A1 just after Colsterworth usually when going from Surrey).

Any help from those over thattaway would be great - Zimbo/ Chass/Phoenix ???

We always go via Lincoln as it's the easiest route compared to going A16 through Boston:

A1 to Newark on Trent
A46 to Lincoln
A158 to Horncastle
A153 to Scamblesby, then continue to Cadwell

cheers both ,but looking to go across from south of Brum.

Ant - we avoid Boston too as well as Lincoln - just take the B6403 off the A1 at Colsterworth, then hook a right onto the A153 close to Sleaford & onto Horncastle then stay on it to Cadwell mate - far better route, as those who have followed us home will attestify saves time & fuel

now, can anyone help with directions from where we are staying on Sat night

please, pwetty pweese

We'll be going the usual route, past Silverstone and onto the M1 near Northampton, up to the Leicester North Junction and pick up the A46 to Newark, past the showground where they hold the big auto-jumbles and then on towards Lincoln passing Mark Phillips bike cloathing shop. Next its head to Wragby and before long you find yourself at Cadders

Hmmmm...Melton, Colsterworth, Lincoln...

I suppose I should know this 'cos the BHCN are always blatting about those parts, trouble is we're usually following our routemeister KeefyB at a fair old lick and it all blurs into one

Yup, M42 / M69 to Lincoln, then A46.
Or, head for Coventry and A46 from there if you'd rather stay off the motorway!
