| It's fair to say that the 748/916 series had reached the end of the road in terms of major development. Unfortunately, when it comes to raw numbers that 749/999 series didn't significantly move things on it terms of performance. Sure they are more user-friendly (not an advantage in my book) but, they're still too heavy and cost too much. It' s shame that it's cost the factory a lot and people who bought those bikes are gonna suffer massive depreciation due to the short model life. |
