Same with my 999r...I in fact spoke with Moto Rapido only yesterday about the problem - my rev limiter appears to be kicking in at under 9thou and Ben there tells me it should be coming in at around 10,200. He's recommended checking that the rev counter is working correctly before doing anything too drastic. Also tells me that the standard ECU cannot be adjusted and that a Power Commander will not sort it?
the prob came up on a dynojet dyno. 1st run gave 132.6 @approx 10,500 indicated rev limit on the actual dyno second run 5 mins later gave 138.9 @approx 10,000 i think the third run gave 134@10,200 iirc
6bhp difference!
spoke to jhp who advised its ok to use standard ecu as it is the same rev limit and pc3 will overide with its own fuel/air settings.
