Heh, maybe they need to be a little more precise with this point!

Well I never!

What happens if you don't drink enough liquids? Do you use less liquid to compensate (so that your overall fluid percentage remains the same) or you you end up shrivelling up as you eventually end up with no liquid in your body?

Wikipedia says:

Dehydration symptoms generally become noticeable after 2% of one's normal water volume has been lost. Initially, one experiences thirst and discomfort, possibly along with loss of appetite and dry skin. Athletes may suffer a loss of performance of up to 50%, and experience flushing, low endurance, rapid heart rates, elevated body temperatures, and rapid onset of fatigue.

...

The symptoms become increasingly severe with greater water loss. One's heart and respiration rates begin to increase to compensate for decreased plasma volume and blood pressure, while body temperature may rise because of decreased sweating. Around 5% to 6% water loss, one may become groggy or sleepy, experience headaches or nausea, and may feel tingling in one's limbs (paresthesia). With 10% to 15% fluid loss, muscles may become spas.tic [it's a medical term!], skin may shrivel and wrinkle, vision may dim, urination will be greatly reduced and may become painful, and delirium may begin.

Losses greater than 15% are usually fatal.

I'm not so sure about this water stuff....
It has been scientifically proven that if we drink 1 litre of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli (E. coli) bacteria found in faeces.

In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of Poo.

However, we do not run that risk when drinking beer (or rum, whiskey, wine or other liquors) because alcohol has to go through a distillation process of boiling, filtering and fermenting.

WATER = POO
BEER = HEALTH

Free yourself of Poo, drink BEER!!!

It is better to drink beer and talk s**t than to drink water and be
full of s**t.

Title: Water On The Brain

(hicks / clarke / nash)
I've just come in from out of the rain
It's wet outside the water runs down a drain
I go to bed 'cause my head's full of pain

And drip drip it's driving me wild
Drip drip it's driving me wild

Outside the window there's a pipe wearing thin
It lets the water do a dance on a tin
I try to sleep but it's making a din

And drip drip it's driving me wild
Drip drip it's driving me wild

Water on the brain water on the brain
Water on the brain water on the brain

Drip drip it's driving me wild
Drip drip it's driving me wild

I toss and turn and my patience is weak
Go to the bathroom door and i take a peak yeah
The bath tap has started a leak

And drip drip it's driving me wild
Drip drip it's driving me wild
Drip drip it's driving me wild
Drip drip it's driving me wild

If coffee and tea are such diuretics (they make you pee more), how come you dont get dehydrated when you drink them
