Thinking on... I do have a higher screen on the 996, maybe a standard screen wouldn't need taking off, i've never tried it.
Recently bought a van because I thought it would be the best option. So far i'm thinking it's pretty even - the van can fit 2 bikes +kit, and there's plenty of height; the espace only fits one bike with a minor height problem but there's still room for all the kit. The van ain't very quick! It maintains motorway speed ok but struggles up hills when loaded, it's also noisey and visibility is very poor. The espace is a 2ltr petrol so when the right foot goes to the floor the car actually does something! It's quiet to drive, superb visibility all round and a little more comfortable. Van has 3 seats, always, whereas the car has the luxury of 7 seats.
