The 89-90 models came standard with 17 inch wheels.
Only the Tricolore (strada) came with 16 inch wheels.
I have read some articles about those models and they were all positive of it.
Specially in comparison to the tricolore.

Where does he say it's an SP4?

SP4's are closer to double that.

It's probably a 851 instead of a 888.

Hi, "92 strada=851,"92 888=sp4/sps,"93 strada=888.

ah........see where your coming from now.
Just checked registration doc and bike was registered march '93 - 888 strada.
My apologies for confusion and also for inadvertantly hijacking this thread.

Back to original topic, Phil_h hope you get the bike your after
