| I was being born in 1981, so I don't recall that one  I do love watching videos of some of the old races though, the Transatlantic at Donington and Fast Freddie Spencer and Lawson going at it on those horrible old tyres and bikes that looked like Superdreams  Awesome stuff. |

| I was there for that, I seem to remember they did it for about three years, Jody did demo laps in a JPS F1 car. It's such a shame there are no meetings like that anymore. Better than the Transatlantic challenge in some ways as you got riders from all countries. Good days - I had a Yamaha XJ550 at the time  |
