Only mine was registered 277 MMY and was duly named Emmy 1200cc Sidevalve engine, 3 speed crash gearbox (reverse was where 1st normally is - with no gate!!! ), cable operated drum brakes, semi-elliptical transverse suspension, 6 volt electrics and wipers that were vacuum operated from the inlet manifold (they slowed down or stopped when you put your foot down). I used to get the **** ripped out of me by all my mates, cos they were working while I was at Uni and they could all afford at least £50 for their cars.
