Casey doesn't have a lot of experience, and perhaps he's overly exuberant sometimes ... but he's bloody fast! I think he's an excellent long term signing for Ducati, if it happens.
I for one will be a very happy camper!
Even Rossi crashed a lot in his first season. Casey has shown true pace this year and with a little maturity and the right guidance he will be a race winner and title contender for sure. I just hope he's not doing the wrong thing from his perspective, I'm not sure that signing for a Bridgestone team is such a smart move for him right now.
Assuming he has other options, if not, then Ducati is obviously the best thing going!
