I will not enter into the debate about Henners, - I have kept out of that for a long time now and I am not starting now as he does not have the ability for immediate reply, It seems a bit like picking a fight with somebody when their arms are tied behind their back.
David I hope you respect my view on votes, although if I read your message right your thoughts are inline with mine- How individual MT members vote is confidential. In truth I am not certain of the exact vote but it was not unanimous. My belief (sounds a bit heavy) is that a team should be a team and follow the majority decision, - or not be in the team, - but perhaps that is going off on another tangent.
Age I admire you sticking by your friend, - I just hope this does not turn into another argument between people again, causing more antagonism - argue the argument not the person.
Age, - this friend is responsible for me staying in the DSC; until he picked up the Surrey/South region and worked at it there was sweet FA happening. This friend worked at getting the Sussex region started. This friend had some of the very early ideas about the DSC getting involved with racing, - a racing academy I think was first his idea, or something that he took ownership of. Henry and I go back a few years now, he and I joined the webteam at the same time. I am not looking for a sympathy vote here, but I am sad about what has gone and is still going on here.
My view on votes: majority rule as Flanks says, - I have been out voted before, - actually on a subject very similar to this but collective responsibility should be taken for all decisions.
One more time ... please tell us how the vote was cast ... it must have been recorded.
This is a simple question which requires a simple and prompt answer -
1. I want the transparency we all crave exhibited by an answer 2. I don't want further prevarication or delay in getting an answer which is what causes most of the rumour and conjecture in the first place 3. Once I have the answer I will personally close off on this subject
