Get an HP one.

you mean those HP printers that are made by Canon? lol sorry Jools could not resist it. HP did develop the software to allow the printers to talk to the programme’s.

Little of nothing has changed in printer technology for the last few years so it all comes down to total cost of ownership. TCO is the important thing Paul, - Dell were not the cheapest on TCO when I last got the info through, - cheap initial cost but they do control the ink cost as they do not license anybody else to sell it for them, - no competition in the market. Dell lasers did have Xerox motors behind them, - nothing wrong with that - may still have but I am out of the loop now. The warranty was good on Dell lasers as it did include consumable parts (not ink), but think you would have to pay more for a 3 year onsite.

When doing a TCO comparison for estate replacement Brother or Kyocera could not be beaten. – I would look at these. Kyocera always the cheapest TCO although be aware that Kyocera use a different technology for their laser printers; ceramic drum, and they need to be maintained with regular service intervals.
