yep looks like an Alluzuri, although the colour scheme is wrong, - original had decals on it. Yes they did come in 650. When they first came into the UK I rode a silver one for an old magazine called Motorcycle International on a roadtest and was on the front cover, - I think KeefyB has said before that he still has a copy of the mag, - I do up in the loft somewhere,- Keith may have owned one? It is a Pantah engine with Cagiva bodywork.

The guys seem to have it spot on.

I have this book which I think you might find useful:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Belt-drive-T.../dp/0760306974

It even mentions that FZR600 wheels and forks will fit, sorry guys - my track day fiend head got in the way there

Cheers - Frank

Someone posted up this link, which confirms it:
http://www.wvriders.com/sales/85-cagiva-alazzurra.html

I think they must have replaced the graphics/paint at some point and decided to pretend it was a Ducati (which it basically is anyway...)

Yep,its the Cagiva Allazurra. It was available as a 650 and a 350,there was also a GT version with a full fairing.
As mentioned above I did own one once.Mine had a Verilicchi 2-1 exhaust and Dymag wheels. Here's a pic of it with my 900SS.
