I try to change my gearing to suit the track and usually the conditions, my head must have been somewhere else when we were at Brand in April.

I changed gearing a fair bit in my first year, I found it worked for me but to be honest I found that 14/46 on my 03 monster suited most places including Brands Indy and Snet!

Yes the 620's will pull shorter gearing but there's still a limit. You can't go too tall with them otherwise you just end up nowhere and struggling.

your bike doesn't need 6 gears, it's fast enough
