Hmmm, you've got me thinking about our '94 900SS. It's got a BORA zorst conversion and freeflow airfilter, but it goes flat at about 8 1/2 - 9,000 like it's trying to suck more juice rather than running out of cam. I'd have thought there would be a bit more in it. Opinions please blokes.
Oh, I've not had the carbs apart so don't know what jets are in there, but Baines did the conversion so you'd expect the jetting to be right.
I'd of thought Carbs and especially in the long inlet manifolds were the "weak-links" in a system with a Bora conversion - but you might need a dyno run to confirm it.
