Caution should be the main word when buying carbon bits on ebay, I bought several bits from 2 sources when they arrived all of them were made from fiberglass with a carbon look top skin, fit was also lousey.
With 1 I used the ebay/paypal complaints section and recived 75% of the money back, (USA seller shipped from France) with the other based in the UK I called him and explained and he refunded the money immidiatley.

Most genuine carbon will have a label on the backside which states the part #, date of manufacture etc, if its a carbon/Kevlar mix usually the back is a bronze/gold type weave of the kevlar, if it seems cheap be careful !!!
