Mood: I can live with backpain!
The plot takes a twist
Right,I may have discovered the cause.
After stripping it down... AGAIN!,I've found the o ring sealing the main jet was split,so I'm hoping that this was the problem, though there is the chance I've split it getting it back out and the original problem is elsewhere.
I've had several leads saying that it might be too much air getting through, but I suppose I'll find out.
The o ring is on order from Ducati Glasgow and will be a day or two.
The good thing to come of this is the fact I managed to strip it down to this stage in two hours, rather than the two weeks the first time, thats probably because the second time you do something you've used up all the swearwords and remember what you did before without having to read it in a book.
Its shocking to think I've had this bike for five months and have ridden it twice!
I think I'll have forgotten what to do by the time I get the engine going.
