Jason, get in touch with Mark (mjbayley) as I know he has a 2-into-1 Termi system from a 1000 Sport that might fit the bill? He was going to use it for a race bike but it didn't fit the engine he now has so he might part with it for some cash, or even to borrow.

Unfortunately these headers won't fit with a Supersport frame/swingarm/shock arrangement.

There was a couple of these on eBay too, but the answer from the experts was "No".

Thanks though.

The headers I have are like these, i'll check the part numbers when I get home they should be
571.1.081.1A
570.1.084.1A

for a 2005 & 2006 1000SS/1000DS

Just checked and the part numbers correspond, although thefeed into the collector box for the rear header pipe is at a different angle to the pic.
The pic from the 1000DS Supersport parts PDF is probably updated from a generic pic

Thanks Skids. It's almost certain these are the right ones then, and certainly the best chance we have.

Thats not bad value, my race CBR600 and two of my race Fireblades had full Akropovic (well OK one was a Skorpion before they changed the name) and they were around a Grand 9 years ago

Nice, but I think this only fits the Monster 1000 and not the Supersport 1000.

It's the first time I see a complete system for the SS1000 (although those headers look like they fit on a watercooled 4v engine).

Silmoto makes the "spaghetti headers" but for only for the Monster 1000 (not the same headers with the SS1000, ) and for the 750-800-900 SS.
