Good to meet you Ross and at least you have now done your first race meet, and although slow progress its still progress with lap times falling as the weekend went on, just stick at it and I'm sure the improvements will keep coming especially if you can shed 15 to 20 killos from that overweight bike of yours

It was my first weekend aswell Ross and i ended up doing 200 meters accross the grass coming out of coppice on my very first lap of race 1 and then on lap 3 of race 2 i also lost my gear linkage going into the foggy s's but was fortunately in 3rd gear so decided to battle on for the practice. Sorry to Kev aswell for swerving infront of you, i only had one gear and am quite competitive. Great battle tho before i lost use of the gear box. Top Weekend!

Dean, I was behind you for the second half of race 2, and figured out you only had one gear but depressingly still couldn't pass, even on the straight. Great riding - 2'02.79 in 3rd gear deserves a trophy! What on earth were you revving it to?

I just couldnt bring myself to pull in, i was fortunate to be in 3rd gear but just couldnt get past kev. I was revving it to 11000 , but then trying to ease off towards the end of the straight before the bike exploded, but i found out its hard to 'ease off' when your racing. Cant wait for angelsey with all the gears!

I could see you were having problems and knew it was only a matter of time so I didn't take any unceessart risks, Still if thats how well you go stuck in 3rd I'll be expecting to see some good results from you when all is going to plan

I was parked up in the wrong paddock and only met a few of you guys off track. Had a blast in my first ever race, was fully expecting for it to scare the pants off me and it didn’t disappoint. I'm going to have to join the weight loss program 183kg, ouch, just need to work out where to start. Anyway thanks to Dave who helped me in getting my bike running 3 mins before qualifying and for the loan of his meter. Looking forward to be a little more sociable at Anglesey and only 6 weeks to go

Nice one Rossco, we both poped our DD cherries. You pipped me in the race AND you just pipped me in the heaviest bike. Nice one.
