I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed this song - sound, lyrics and message. Whatever happened to all my youthful rage and venom? Broken by the man.

Anyway, even though I have the full RATM collection on CD, this was worth the £0.99, just to listen to the song ad nauseam at work today.

Bought on itunes and play. Who cares about the politics of it, it's an utterly stonking tune, deserves to be No1 in a way nothing Cowell&Co ever produce will, and looks like it'll make about £50k for Shelter in the process. Top work Mssrs Morter!

I was thinking about this and came to the conclusion that I can't name a single No.1 from this year and probably last year either.

Made me realise that I don't give a monkeys what's No.1 or in the charts - so does anybody actually care?
