It might be spare on the 748. If Ducati used a common loom with the 996, then it could be to connect to the second injectors, which you don't have.

In my strip down pics its clearly plugged in but i'm stumped as to what. I'll get there in the end. I'm hoping to get the front end on this weekend. I've fitted the head bearings and lower yoke to the head insert so i should be ok. Fingers crossed.

My replacement brake discs have also arrived. Top marks to the customer service of bikedevils.co.uk. They exchanged very quickly with no fuss.

Cheers buddy. Did you have a trick black 998? I've been using a pic of it to try and work out a paint job.

Its been a productive weekend for my build as you can see

I keep looking at it and wonderind why its so small. Its like a 3/4 size bike next to the R6 which isn't exactly big lol.

I'm loving the back end so far

I've even got the headlight housing mounted and hung the rad on its top mounts.

I've picked up my exhaust from the metal polishers. I asked for a satin finish because i think it looks nicer

As it was a nice day i decided to wheel her into the sun for the first time and fit the exhausts. Looks lovely imo

You'll note that so far i've only painted one foot rest hanger.

I also finished mounting the rad.

I've found that at some point the connector for the headlight loom changed size. The one on the bike is now wrong. I will have to pull it apart and fit the other loom i have. I've also started to think about how i'm going to mount the translogic dash that i have for it.

That satin finish looks much better than a full polish.
What was the cost, just out of interest?
