FS - 10 Spoke wheels 748 / 916 / 996 / 998 / others?

Hi selling some 10 spoke wheels as the bike is moving to wide track / big hub.

they are the wheels for the 748 / 916 / 996 / 998 series.
I am not sure what else they might fit. Probably S4R / S4RS / maybe 848 for the rear.

Those are Alloy (not Mag) - still very light and less prone to wear issues that Mag is subject to. Much better for road use in the UK that's for sure.
Front is 3.5" and rear is 6"
Front is 6 bolt design for standard road discs

They have been refurbished in Satin black a while back and only used on a static bike since then (project never getting finished).
Wheels are sold bare, tyres have been removed.

Looking for £850 for them.

Hi pguenet (desmophil?),

I'm interested in buying your set of wheels.

Do you know of any damages, scratches etc.?

And do you happen to know why they were repainted?

Btw, are they painted (with a base coating) or are they powder coated?

Thanks!

no damage - maybe 2 or 3 tiny little chips on outter edge of rim but that's being very picky. Not that's really noticeable unless you very closely inspect.

I bought them white and got them cleaned & powder coated Satin black. That got done by Griff in Bristol who took on some of the work that Dymag used to do. So good job. The wheels then got fitted on a project bike that never got finished (and still going), but change of direction means wide track / big hub. So they really remained static and had tyre fitting on them.

I can try and take some close up pictures if you need more details.

Cheers
