| All the 916SP (1, 2 and 3) should have the 'champagne*' (gold) coloured frame and the three-spoke wheels. There are questions as to whether all the bikes went out with the lightweight magnesium alloy three-spoke wheels (these seem to be very rare) It shouldn't have colour matched mirrors (all the pre-TPG bikes came with black mirrors) I'll need to dig out the books, but I was pretty sure that there were spec'd with carbon front mud guard and carbon airbox as well(?) but I might be getting that confused with the later SPS models... *The same colur as the paddock stand in the picture   |
