have you got an open clutch cover? IMO having a closed cover would reduce the neighbour noise much more than baffles if you have

If you're really that worried, why not just push the bike up the road before starting? At least you won't be annoying *your* neighbours!

Yup that's just what I do if it's before 8 otherwise a quick start and off we go on a warm up lap
