Thanks for your help - where can I get the new ECU ? are they generally available from a Ducati dealer or only from a more specialist supplier?

You can have your current ECU reprogrammed, far cheaper than buying New
Or if you want to keep your original as is then you can get a reprogrammed used unit
Antony or ChrisW can do it for you
