All bikes from all years appear to suffer this problem apart from the 999, 749 engines. Ducati will only help when the bike is out of warranty if the bike has been dealer serviced at the correct intervals. I dont think checking the rockers is an actual service item either. You have to specifically request the work to be done. The cams have to come out to do it.
There are several alleged Ducati specialists that are still refusing to admit that there is a problem. Chris Clarkes was one of them.
