Well, if you believe their financial figures at the end of that report, they are now saying that not only does it not reduce casualties, they're not making any money either!

I can't think about this one anymore otherwise my blood pressure will go sky high!

Let's see. In a year, they spent just over a million quid on 18 fixed cameras and 4 mobile vans. Presumably that doesn't include the purchase of the cameras since they won't have been installed this past year. What a joke!

Then they put into places where they shouldn't have been according to the police. Presumably, they put them in positions for best revenue opportunities. And still, they only made £70!!??

Your tax money at work, folks!

But you can sure bet that those figures have been adjusted to take into account maintenance, staff wages, training, spares, publicity, newsletters, advertising, etc, etc to make it look better...

As a rep I visit Norwich twice a month, as you drive into Norwich there is a speed camera, whats wrong with that you think, it is positioned in a bus & cycle lane, going UP a hill, cant see it catching many cyclists or buses. Who ever thought of putting it there must be realy thick
