Sidestand cutout bypass

Sorry if this subject has come up before, but I recently bought an engine sidestand cutout bypass switch thingy off ebay, but have started to have doubts about fitting it, as my mate says I should leave Ducati electrics well alone..! - Has anyone else fitted one of these devices or have any words of advice?

Probably jealous!
Fit it, dead easy & one of the best mods you can do.
No sitting on the bike to warm it up.
Had one on mine for the best part of 8000 miles without a hiccup.

Same as rushjob - Dead easy to fit, gives the bike chance to warm up whilst you put helmet and gloves on. Takes longer to take the panels off than to fit the gizmo.

Again as above, if you have the one made with the genuine ducati connector it is an absolute dawdle to fit. Can you take a pic of it and post it up?

If you don't have the instructions PM me and i'll sort them out for you.

Here's the advert pic - the seller says it's dead easy to fit & comes with instructions so I'll go for it..

Yeah, those are Ducati oem connectors so it should be really easy.

Lol! I forced the missus to ebay about 6 bags/purses/assorted crap from the back of the cupboard which would otherwise have sold at a car boot sale for a quid or so each ... she ended up 90 quid richer!

Only problem is that she's now getting into ebay buying and selling too
