Oberon!

I have had an Oberon on mine for the last 12 months. The clutch basket bearing failed on mine not long after I fitted it though so worth checking that's good too. (If its seized, the rod spins, boiling the fluid in the slave and locks up the clutch lever!
I also run with 4 springs instead of 6 on mine, its as light as a cable clutch and never had an issue with clutch slip or warped plates.

I recommend that you use nothing bigger in diameter than 29mm on a 748 with stock levers.
