Don't know what the score is re. the pattern levers, but I did see a possible alternative for the bracket being offered on ebay a while back - it appeared to be the stock one but chrome plated. Not ideal I know for all year round use, but a lot better than zinc and pass. Whether the bloke worked for a plating firm he didn't say, but it looked a decent job, missed out on the bidding though!
