Have a look through ebay as there are always plenty on there. Cheap slippers seem to sell well (and sell for more than they're worth) but for the pukka things (Corse/Bucci/STM/etc) they just don't sell at anything near what they're worth.
The problem with the 748R clutch is that it's the most basic slipper that Ducati could come up with (ramp only, no bearings) just to get it homogolated for racing. Once it has a slipper in for homogolation, they can swap it out for any other kind of slipper clutch they like - ie, the expensive proper race-spec, hand-made exotic ones. |
