| I read in MCN a couple of years ago about a firm who make the coating for non-stick frying pans who had started coating bike wheels using the same stuff. Apparantly grease/ dirt/ oil etc can't adhere to the surface making the wheels much easier to keep clean. I haven't tried them myself but it sounds like it makes sense.
The firm was called something like Polymer Coatings and charged about 40 a wheel. If I can find the number Ill edit this reply.
