That's similar to the one I use on the Ducati front wheel, for other bikes where you can get the centre spacer to drop out of the way more I use a 12mm round bar which just doesn't work on Ducati front wheels

Yeah i was surprised how much the Ducati one dodn't move out of the way compare to my other bikes

Having replaced the bearings on a Hypermotard wheel, I can feel your pain!

One tip, in case you didn't know, is that there is a small slot at the edge of the inner spacer that you are supposed to use to get a bit more purchase on the bearing.

It is only a small slot cut in but there's definitely one there!

Thanks for the pic, I have found the small cut out in my spacer so i will try and drift it out. If i don't succeed with that, i will get a slide hammer (Nelly's suggestion) and use that.
