Don't what ever you do buy and fit the bloody thing (and no i didn't pay £20 for it ) its a 30pence resistor that takes 5 mins to fit it fools the engine management into think the that the air entering the inlet manifold is always cold it's great for short periods of use ie:drag racing etc but after a while your ecu will grow accustomed to it and will be permanently altered . my car was 5mph faster through all the gears at 4000 rpm

The car's a 3 litre straight (inline) six, turbo'd 1400bhp machine.
Pretty nifty for a jap car.
Used to go to the drags all the time when I was in the states and went to Wetsville (Santa Pod) alot in the mid 80's too, but it was nothing in comparison to seeing the Americans do it properly.
The 'real' draggers are 4000bhp+ big block V8 motors. The sound from them is awesome, infact unbelievable. They'll do the quarter mile dash in under 4.5 seconds at well over 300mph. The Scandanavians are buying alot of the 2nd-hand US cars so they're catching up on speeds and times now.
