I recently had to throw my beloved Sidi's away after the sole wore through.I fancied a change so I bought some Oxtar TCS Evo boots at the GP.I got them for 30quid off rrp,so was well chuffed.They are pretty supple and bedded in quickly.They are pretty comfy for walking about in too.Only downside is that they squeek like a very squeeky thing from squeeksville!You get some silicone lube in the box,and despite soaking all the spine joints,the're still noisy.
I've also got a pair of AlpineStars SMX boots.(Non goretex)They leak like a sieve and a very uncomfy.I tried a pair of SMX plus on and could'nt bend my foot!How the heck are you supposed to change gear in those?They felt as though they would take months to bed in.
