Good for you CK. It's nice to know there are still some truly functional relationships out there. However, I would have to point out that there are certain thought processes that might be going on in the average cynical woman's mind. 1. ....
No, no Alan - congratulations on being a decent husband (oxymoron - not necessarily!)
Its his twice a year offering - as he refuses to buy flowers for times like valentines day etc, as he says its just a rip off then
He does come bearing gifts tho - but of the bike cleaning variety, bike mending variety - and very occasionally the odd trinket for the bike too
Now, any ideas of how to get him into buying perfume, Jimmy Choo shoes? - not that I'm ever ungrateful for the bike bits: the paddock stand I got for xmas last year was just what I wanted
Ah that's lovely Charlotte.... get him to bring choccies too :P
It is nice though, for a guy to do a lovely 'traditional and old fashioned' things sometimes, cos those are always the best.....
I got embarressed once at work, I had flowers sent to me about 2 years ago, and it took me a long time to find out who it was.... - that's annoying tho, cos you can't thank anyone....
Kev - no, Al wears the troosers (well, most of the time )
Mel: you are right, he does do the 'old fashioned' things - he even walks between me & the traffic, and holds a car door open for me, if I'm in 'dress' mode.
Lily: I wish, but he doesnt often read forums... maybe I should print it out & paste to the tank of the current bike being worked on???
C'mon guys - have you brought a smile to your lady's face recently?
