Drain plugs

Just dropped the engine from the 583 and was pondering how to go about lock wiring the sump plug. The original fits flush against the crank cases. Does someone sell bolt type ones that can be drilled. Any help would be appreciated.

Buy a pre-drilled sump plug, oil filler cap and a K&N oil filter which has a pre-drilled nut on the end.

All Ducati sizes are the same.

James (JamColy) drilled my sump plug from the outside face into the drive socket and it works without any problems.

I used to just drill a hole through the head of the bolt - one way or another.

As long as you can get a piece of wire through it, you'll be ok.
