Unhappy The World Turns !

Bum !

Just been made compulsory redundant after 5 years and 1 month with (ex) company!
I'm One of Twelve that went today. (Six more have the sword hanging for another two weeks, poor sods)

No more photo's of GT's and Mustangs to post, boo hoo!

Ah well, where's the beer, Job Centre on Monday.

See you all at Cadwell next week.

I've been out of work for 10 weeks now so I know how you feel.

My recommendation is to drink a lot of beer, well it worked for me ...

Hopefully I'll be starting work next week

Sorry to hear that. I was thinking about you the other day as I knew you said it may be a possibility.
I don't think there are any jobs here for you, currently looking for a cad technician, but I will keep my eyes open.

Bummer! Hope the redundancy package is good....

And do not under any circumstances use the TP method for relief for having no work!

bum

good luck in the hunt.

I got the same in March this year but was given 2 weeks notice.
Spent April doing 'housework' & then the next 2 months looking.
Got my present job in July, which has turned out to be a right turkey - so looked about & am now leaving here next week & going to something like I used to do just after cadwell

Hope you got enough of a package to take time in getting the right thing

Very sorry to hear it. As a minimum chuck a quick description of what you do up here and someone might put some work your way. I know I could use a sparky, architect, and race tutor!

Good luck,

Ali
