Either buy proper stuff by the cm or alternatively I seem to recall either the 848 or 999 had a really long hose to the rear brake reservoir and it worked out...

Just check that the sprocket offset is the same as there are two types that fit the early small spindle as fitted to 600/750/900 ss and Monster and the 851/888.............
