my 750SS used to do about 100ish before the light came on, had it serviced and the carbs balanced and it now gets to around 115.
Ran it to 125 before filling up and managed to cram 14.5 litres in, which works out at 39mpg.
Mine is standard apart from some sil motor(?) cans
