Have to agree with Dickie, as I find it difficult to have any spare weekends at the moment and the DD series is only one weekend per month! The fact that I'm racing against friends from the DSC is the biggest attraction to the series. I really don't know if I would race in another series if it wasn't for DD because the amount of times I have been helped (and also helped others) has made the difference between racing or sitting and watching. There's a great friendship in the paddock that I think would be missing elsewhere. I'm sure that the other series also has friends, but I'm sure they take it a lot more seriously and are more insular than us DD riders are as a paddock. |
