Warm the grips up with a hot air gun to get them nice and pliable. Make sure the bars are very clean and dry - apply some bar/grip adhesive and then slide the grips on with a turning/twisting motion. Wipe of any excess adhesive immediately and allow 24hrs to set...the last bit is very important.

Before you slide the grips on make sure you know exactly where you want to position the grips - mark it on the bars with a black marker pen.

Brake Cleaner!

Works as an excellent lube and then dries leaving them stuck in place nicely.

Don't ask me how I know this, but a small spray of hair-spray works a treat.

Remember that one grip will have a smaller inside diameter than the other. The larger one goes on the throttle.

I once spent ages trying to force the small i/d one onto my throttle side. Got it on eventually, then found the left one was like a stick in a bucket! Doh!

Obvious, really.
