With the rear bracket in place, all you have to do is bolt the side brackets on.
These fit on the rear mounting point of the pillion brackets - which I don't use.
You need to pack the bracket out with the supplied washers to get the right clearance.
Keep checking by fitting the rack to make sure it all works ok.
When you're not using the Ventura, remove the side brackets but leave the rear one in place - you can't see it under the seat unit.
Have a search back through the old threads about tips for using the ventura - even the proper ventura luggage bags can mark your pillion seat.
