Sprocket Specialist, AFAM, and Renthal sprockets are interchangeable with each other's quick-change carriers. I would recommend getting one of these carriers because the range of sprockets is better and you'll more than likely find one when you're in a bind (i.e. at the racetrack). STM quick-change carriers are nice but you can only use their sprockets.
Also, AFAM makes steel sprockets. What's nice is that the carrier is still aluminum, so even with the steel sprocket, the weight is less and you still can have the durability of steel.
