| Certainly doesn't sound right - I know of one other guy (in the Essex DSC, funnily enough!) that had a replacement ECU supplied second hand which was supposed to be from a 748.
He had exactly the same symptoms as you, and it turned out that the ECU had a 916 chip in it rather than the 748 one. |
